I've been partial to snagging as much as I can written by Scott Nicholson. He lives over toward Boone, and uses a lot of western NC geography in his books. Mostly thriller/paranormal stuff.

If you use Face Book "friend" E Reader News. They will post new free books at Amazon with good ratings. One thing I like about them is they list the genre of the books...fantasy horror etc. It's very useful too. Happy reading.

What free e books have recently gotten that you enjoyed?
I just read Whispers from Ashes by Patricia Hester, I enjoyed this book, it is free on Amazon kindle books
