Lewis, who once dated pop star Katy Perry in 2006, may have rented a room from Davis and is considered a suspect in the woman�s murder.
An actor in the series �Sons of Anarchy� � and former lover of Katy Perry � went on a bizarre rampage Wednesday, killing his elderly landlady and cat before plummeting to his death from a roof in a Los Angeles neighborhood, sources said.
Investigators are investigating whether killerJohnny Lewis, 28, had the synthetic drug, Smiles, in his system when he murdered octogenarian Catherine Chabot David, LAPD Commander Andrew Smith said. Lewis stormed into the senior�s apartment around 10:40 a.m., ransacked the unit, bashed her furniture and beat her to death.
It was unclear what spurred the orgy of violence.
