Thank you ashe plumber. That is really weird though because the faucet is brand new and the showerhead is only about three months old. I'll try it though and see if it helps.

The whistling noise is normally a sign of a partially blocked pipe, either from debris or a valve thats not fully open. I bet that if you remove the showerhead and clean it the noise will go away. You will also need to clean the aerator on the end of the spout for the kitchen faucet.

This is a tough one to explain. Our kitchen faucet broke and when we were trying to replace it my husband cracked a pipe under the sink so then we had a leak. We got that fixed and we noticed that the pressure in sink was low. The water doesn't come out as strong it did. We just put that off as the new faucet. But then we noticed whenever we turn the shower on in our bathroom on the other side of the house it makes a whistling and squealing noise. Could this be related to putting in a new faucet in the kitchen? Maybe air got in the pipes? What can we do to get rid of the whistling, squealing?
