I would say that it would appear that you have some sort of malware on your system that is likely sending the emails to others. Try Malwarebytes' Anti-malware and SuperAntiSpyware and see if they detect anything. For SuperAntiSpyware, I would recommend running a scan in Safe Mode in addition to running it in "normal mode". Do a full virus scan.

Ok...I have aol mail and have noticed that someone has been sending out emails from my email address promoting canadian pills and computer protection.

How can I get this to stop. It is a free email address so aol will not help unless I upgrade?

Was just going to ride it out....but today noticed another batch has been sent out again about the computer protection.
