follow the instructions ... and pick a date before.... "I had used something a while back and it had said something about to save space or something I had the option to turn off an appearence thing."

I had used something a while back and it had said something about to save space or something I had the option to turn off an appearence thing.
Well since I have did that, when I click on solitaire game it is black and white with lines running through it, and it is only on half of the screen with the other side black. It has also made my computer start acting funny.
How can I get the settings changed back, I have looked under my appearence thing under control panel but I do not know what to do.
