Another way to access task manager is to right click your task bar on the bottom and choose task manager. Also another and easier way is to just hold ctrl + shift and press the esc key.
Another good program to use is SuperAntiSpyware from http://www.bleepingcomputer...tispyware/ . Combination of JRT,ADW,SAS, and CCleaner will keep your pc running top notch.

Disk Cleanup, Defragment, Malware bytes is also good. Check task manager to see what the performance actually is. Use msconfig to turn off programs that don't need to run in background
To start Task manager press ctrl+alt+del all at the same time then click performance Both cpu and memory need to be as low as possible, use msconfig (startup) to turn items off or on if you turn off something you shouldn't just put the check mark back
to start msconfig start >run>then type msconfig in the box

My brother wants the junk cleaned from his computer stating it is slow.
Other than CCcleaner and Spybot what other things do you rec I use to be thorough?
