honestly if your phone rings .. be happy. chances are if you install the "free ringtone" you are signing up for some effed up service that will bill your phone for it monthly.... nothing is free and if it is there is a catch

I found a usb cord that actually fits in the phone but it doesn't come up on the computer as a device.

I was sent a free ringtone on my phone. I don't know anything about tech stuff and have never downloaded a ringtone. This one was from a television program and asked for a text message to receive a ringtone. I sent a message and was sent one back. It says here's your ring tone and has an http link in it. It does not come up in my ringtone menu. I have no idea what to do next. The phone is a no bell and whistle phone and doesn't come with a cord to hook it to a computer. How do I get the ringtone out of that text message? I don't normally do text messages but this phone came with 20 free texts. That is why I know nothing about texts or ringtones.
