Email Jason and ask him, or at least make him aware of your concerns.

Yup ... I guess your right, Z. Yahoo does use the Y icon.
I thought (and still do) that something looks odd about the 'Y!" ad on the GW home page though.
Doesn't say Yahoo on it, and it is placed right on top of a block of news.

Bigboy - Yahoo's logo is just the Y, kinda crooked, with a purple background, I think. Unfortunately I see the crappin' thing all the time as AT&T uses it for our email server or something.

Well, Ok there, Pix, maybe .... but
I thought Yahoo was " Yahoo! "
and NOT Y!

Merry Christmas

On the GW home page there is a 'Y! News' banner ad right in the middle of the news section. I believe I have seen that symbol linked to the PUP. whitesmoke toolbar, a nasty root kit virus which, among other things can hijack your desktop.
The Y! banner itself does not appear to be linked though.
I could be wrong, but I just can't imagine Jason placing it there ... but who knows?
