In addition to what Bennett said

Some Dells have a problem with the "on" switch not functioning properly because of main board problems, if this is the case you should get a "charge" light when the charger is plugged in.

Also check the charger for proper output with a voltmeter. If the charger is working take it to a shop you trust.

Will it run of AC? Does anything light up when plug in? Can the pc boot ? A common problem is a broken DC jack on the mother board, bad battery or the bios can get stuck. Also memory fail can cause a non boot

My Dell mini notebook has stopped taking any charge. I have tried two different adaptors so I feel sure the problem is with my computer. Is it a goner or can it be fixed?
