I think this one requires a fairly recent update to the Wii. Try the system update tool, and see if it works then.

If you stand your Wii vertically, make sure to insert the game with the label side of the disc facing the thinner half of the console. If you're sure that you're inserting the disc correctly, then it's a bad disk. You should be able to return it for a swap of the same title.

My kid tried out his new wii game he opened for Christmas and it is not being read by the wii console. It is the only one not being read, it is Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga.It is brand new, just opened out of packaging! Any suggesting to what could be going on?
