What's the distance from the router to the wireless usb drive?

What is the model number on the device? Firm ware?

If it is a 54g and sliver. It may be junk...

1. Update driver on Netgear USB

2, If your computer has USB 3.0 usb slots, insure netgear usb is plugged into USB 2.0 slot.

3. Disable USB Suspend settings in Power management.

i have got it somewhat hook up ..the problem is when you are on the internet it just goes off. you can unplug it and plug back up and you will have internet again for a little while.. please help me
