Once upon a time, Webroot SpySweeper was great .... within the last year and a half it has unfortunately become a 'virus' itself, not unlike Norton. I would avoid it at all costs. MS Security Essentials is free from Microsoft and works well. Malware Bytes Anti-Malware is a terrific partner to MSSE.

I had ATT for a provider once. They gave me a free subscription to spy sweeper. I think it works pretty good. But I don't use now because some of the free products are as good or better.

does anybody know anything about webroot i heard it was a good one to use .
