Home brew is a channel you add to your wii to gain access to the usb ports and use a thumb drive or usb Hard drive to store and play games..
Google wii homebrew or wii softmod

What are you the raiders?
Sounds like a disk read problem.
Try cleaning the Wii dvd lens with a cd dvd cleaner.
Make sure you have plenty of free system memory for saved games.
If all else fails install homebrew channel

my son has a wii and when we play madden 11 and every time one of us gets a penalty the game gets froze and we have to cut it off the pic is there just froze any hlep
