Btw, that cord wont work. That cord is for connecting a RGBHV device to a VGA monitor, or vice versa. Basically the signal is the same, but different connectors. To convert from composite (the yellow) to a monitor, you need a different module. However, keep in mind that most computer monitors dont have speakers, so you wont get sound unless you have some other amplifier and speakers to send the audio to.
But if you are really set on using a monitor, if the monitor has an HDMI input (most newer monitors do), then you can get a Wii HDMI adapter. These monitors will do better at handling the 480i signal (but still can only look as good as 480i can) You will still have the same issue with speakers unless the monitor has speakers built in.

It will look like crap. Most monitors can't handle the 480p that it puts out, or can't handle the switching to it from 480i constantly very well.

ok...the cord has 5 plugs on one end so I understand that the red, yellow and white from my wii plug into that what about the other 2
