True. I don't know what to think of the new chairman, De Luca... president of a GOP think tank, but also a former member of the State Ethics Commission? Pick a lane, man...

It was certainly a dangerous precedent to set! When the state Supreme Court and Court of Appeals were willing to consider illegal measures to change the outcome of an election, they could just keep moving the line at every election to help their party stay in power.

The precedent would have extended to local and federal elections, too.

Elephant Ears Dumbo Griffin didn't even cry fraud. He just wanted a very select number of ballots tossed, much like Little Donny in Georgia back in 2020. Dumbo wanted ballots tossed from servicemen and their families serving overseas.

Don't know if this was already mentioned, but a federal judge (Trump appointed) ordered Justice Allison Riggs to be seated to the state Supreme Court...

"... this case concerns whether the federal Constitution permits a state to alter the rules of an election after the fact and apply those changes retroactively to only a select group of voters, and in so doing treat those voters differently than other similarly situated individuals. This case is also about whether a state may redefine its class of eligible voters but offer no process to those who may have been misclassified as ineligible."
