Haven't read it but if it is anything like i've heard, they gonna have to do a lot of cutting to keep it rated R instead of X.

How can you comment if you've never read the book.

If we have to explain then you wouldnt understand ....BDSM
BDSM is widely practiced ... even in this state , oh my And there are even email groups that gather and talk about how to safely practice BDSM between consenting adults. Of course there arent any in this backwards arsed place .... else there wouldnt be so many trying to find it in the chatroom here.
I am waiting for the books to arrive .... and i am really looking forward to seeing Charlie Hunam's superb acting .

considering the popularity of the book it isn't surprising.
i've not read the book but from my understanding the BDSM takes place between 2 consenting adults. I don't think anyone becomes a "slave" unwillingly.

Have heard about the book and think it is totally disgusting and should not be given any credit, nor should a movie be made. Some people will do anything to make another dollar!

OK, I just found out that they're making a movie out of this book. A book about sadism, sexual domination, bondage, and basically just making a woman into a sex slave.
The question is, how many women's activist groups will protest the movie as being degrading toward women, even promoting violence towards women? Because I'm sure that if any of these scenes were in any other type of movie, they'd have a heart attack!
