It was only the 14 people in the house that voted her out, not America. In fact, America voted for her to be the first "America's player" or whatever they're calling it. They could have voted the ultra-conservative black minister woman, but they didn't. When America voted for her, all they knew about her was that she called herself ultra-liberal and had blue hair. So if anything, your argument seems to be proving that America is more likely to vote blindly for liberals, just because they're liberal.
