Gillian I agree. I enjoyed the first Fifty Shades book simply for entertainment, but I must admit that it was horrible writing. Gone Girl really lived up to the reviews.

They aren't as good as Gone Girl, but I enjoyed them a great deal.

Gillian Flynn writes several planes above that Fifty Shades crap.

Has anyone read Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn? I read reviews about it on Amazon that said it was one of the books everyone is talking about this summer..kind of like Fifty Shades of Grey is all the rage now. I decided to read it and loved it. It is one of the best thrillers I have read in a long time. I highly recommend it. Has anyone read her other two novels? I am hoping they are as good as Gone Girl.
