Combining his talent with a love of hunting and fishing, Chris Boone began carving decoys at the age of twelve. Chris's favorite woods are cedar, pine and various hardwoods from North Carolina forests. He chooses each section of tree for its unique characteristic and leaves lichen bark and moss attached making each decoy an original. Chris has over 30 years of experience turning a hunter's tool into fine pieces of art.
