Bookmarks' Festival of Books and Authors is held in September on the Saturday following Labor day in Downtown Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Our 11th festival will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015.

The street festival format includes a mixture of outdoor tents plus indoor event space. By including a mix of authors encompassing the range of literary genres, as well as performers, reading-related exhibitors, and a variety of food vendors, the festival offers an inviting atmosphere for all ages.
