I recently had several large trees cut down in my yard leaving the stumps, largest was about 21/2 ft. across. A couple were frazier firs and the rest were hardwoods and chestnut trees. I left them in the ground for about a year, then hired someone with a backhoe to come in and knock them out. Left very little work to do other than filling in with some dirt and cutting off a few roots.

Any suggestions for reasonably-priced tree stump removal services?
