FYI, Jabberwocky is right, ants do love Peonys. However, do not get rid of the ants. Peony buds won't open up into full bloom without the ants to eat off the tough outer shell.

Burgess Nursery is the BOMB! I didn't end up with my Peonys, but I got, like, 102 Hydrangea Trees for practically nothing. And a lot of flower bulbs. In the end I also ended up with 8 free gifts. I expect an 18 wheeler to pull up in my yard one day to unload!
Thanks whitehawk!

I know they won't bloom this year, but won't they be beautiful in the years to come!!! I'm so excited. Thanks for the help, you guys.

also remember they are loved by ants. do not plant them close to your foundation. place them out on a property line instead.

Gurney's Nursery, Burgess Nursery, all on line.
BTW, hope you understand that they do not bloom the first year and may not bloom next year as you are late in planting them. Allow plenty of space between plants for at least two passes of the mower. They are really beautiful foliage and flowers.

I need to buy a BUNCH of Peony roots. I am new at the whole landscaping thing, but I want to outline my property with these. I need, like 100+ roots. I've bought Walmart out of the few they had and I am looking for a place that will sell these to me in bulk. Anyone know who I can call?
