This is an old recipe from the past. I think it was originally posted on Recipezaar and I modified it but it is a good bundt cake.
BLACK WALNUT, APPLE, RAISIN BUNDT CAKE
Ingredients
3 Large eggs
1-1/4 cups canola oil
2 cups white sugar
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
2-1/2 cups self rising flour
3 medium apples, peeled, cored, and chopped. (Granny Smith, Winesap, or Limbertwigs are good choices.)
1 cup black walnuts, butternuts,
or hickory nuts, chopped
1/3 cup raisins or currants, floured
Topping
1/4 cup butter or margarine (not soft whip or light)
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed (I prefer dark)
1/3 cup milk (whole, 2%, or evaporated)
Directions
Grease and flour tube or bundt cake pan and preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Blend eggs, oil, dry spices, and sugar until creamed.
Add flour, a little at a time; and blend well.
Batter will be stiff.
Fold in apples, nuts, and dried fruit.
Pour into tube or bundt pan and bake for 1 hour.
Remove from pan after 30 minutes.
Punch holes in top of cake.
Mix together, topping ingredients in a sausepan.
Boil for 3 minutes. Stir constantly.
Remove from heat. Pour topping over cake with a spoon. This lets topping seep into the holes.
Brush sides of the cake with topping mix using kitchen brush.
Allow cake to stand for 24 hours before cutting and serving.
