KILLER!! Best Split Chicken Breast, and Baby Back Ribs I have ever made!! Very dense wood, very heavy, thick smoke. I had two week old cut logs. Trimmed the bark and second layer. I was left with a beautiful white layer and a black core. Wonderfull aroma! Use caution! It is a hardwood and although it gives a superb flavor, you can ruin your food if you use too much.
