When you crave sweets sweet potatoes are good (low glycemic) Don't go overboard and forget your complex carbs or things that just are good for you ... like salads, oatmeal, brown rice, etc. Low carb junk food - go for pork skins instead of chips. Peanut butter is good to snack on, too. (adding-peanut oil is heart healthy) You can google for many great recipes and ideas.

Two words "glycemic index".
It is the basis of a lot of good diets. There is a ton of information, and food charts that rate carbohydrates according to their glycemic index. Just google it.
If you really stick to low glycemic index foods, you will lose weight and binge eating will be solved. Give it a try.
