I shuck mine, wash it but leave it wet, wrap it in a double thickness of aluminum foil after rubbing a little butter or margarine on it. I cook it on the top rack, away from direct heat as I am usually grilling chicken or steak at the time. I leave mine on about 30 minutes and rotate it once at about the 20 minute mark.
Some folks partially pull the shucks down, silk it, pull the shucks back up and clip the raunchy ends (if any) and stick it in a bucket of ice water or cool water so it soaks for a while. Usually this is before grill is going good so that it stays crisp. Some just lay the corn on the top rack without wrapping it and it just steams in the shucks. I don't because I don't want to handle the hot shucks when it is finished nor do I want to find extra silks or bugs/worms on the corn.
Either way though: it is good!
