Now, this definitely works and is delicious. A cake mix with pudding in batter. One pint Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia ice cream. Mix ice cream, slightly softened, with the cake mix. Pour into greased or sprayed cake pan. Place in preheated loaf pan and bake at temperature listed on cake mix. Test with toothpick at proper time, remove from oven and cool 2 minutes. Remove from loaf pan onto dish towl and let cool to room temp. Wrap and store for at least 3 hours. We leave over night, slice and spread with softened cream cheese or butter. Delicious.
