Actually, Laettner played 13 seasons in the NBA, averaging almost 13 points and 7 rebounds per game. He wasn't a superstar by any means, but he was an above-average professional player.

Honestly I thought everyone knew that powers get the calls, its nothing new, been happening for decades, lots of decades.

We got them all when Dean coached and still do under Roy, we just ain't as good as we were.

Just thought it was funny that the biggest dookie hero says dook gets most the calls. Devilnation-- But you said dook doesn't do any wrong, the reffs don't call any calls for dook.

Devilnation this is an historic day because we finally agree on something LOL. In all sports, you are correct. I have never really liked it, even though I pull for one of those teams but teams with tradition will get calls that others wont. Same thing in baseball. Greg Maddux could throw a pitch 6 inches outside, and because he was greg maddux it was a strike. Great players and traditionally good teams have always got more than their fair share of calls, and that will never change.

That's like the Yankees crying over how much money the redsox spends. Does duke get calls sure, does unc get yeap just as many. The bottom line is great players franchises get calls.

Again I could careless about dook anyways, but dook fans act like they do no wrong or don't get 85% of all calls. Even a former dook player admits it. Yes , unc gets alot of calls, but nothing like dook does. Kentucky and dook are the team's I know before the game starts its 5 vs 8 out there. But not saying that's why they win all games, but really helps with the outcome in long run plus can change a close game.

Said on Dan patrick show that duke gets there fair share of preferential treatment from the refs. Midway though interview - said perception that duke tends to get alot favorable calls from the refs. And no, he doesn't deny it. That was quote from show .there a dookie hero admitting it so don't say it's just me.
