North Surry 26, Ashe Co 12



After a mistake on our part which led to a quick score for Ashe, we came out and played solid ball and never looked back. Won the 1st half and 4th quarter, Ashe played well in the 3rd. Got some errors and habits to fix before we play Elkin next week but a good opener for us.

Ashe's JV's were improved from last year and should do better this year. How much? Still early but they looked better to me than last year's squad.


East Wilkes and South Stokes got rained out and will play on Monday night. Still no clue on Wilkes Central or West Wilkes. Every other MVAC and local school is off.
