Tell me what is wrong with having certain dads that know the sports giving their time to assist with the programs at the high schools. These dads give their time and are very qualified in their teachings and training. Why is that so bad.

Couple of the families live in North district that you talk about. They could not run our school so found a school that would let them. Is true. Verdad. Mala gente ellos estan.

jj77, what i do know is North took a broom to west last night and swept the place clean. As for the daddy ball call it like you see it..... looks like someone got offended by the truth.

The girls team is just as bad no worse. Someone ask the dancy kids dad how much it cost him for the so called greatness that he had to pay for. Very obvious that it was bought and paid for. Besides both teams are run by a husband and wife team and their mvps ( most valuable parents). Sad . The volleyball coach is just as bad. He broke several kids spirit . Deciding to step down then returning when his other daughter goes to highschool. How much money is Wayne Sheppard still making off all this. I heard he still roams the halls of his castle. Tyrant. Is that the word. Sons of blackhawks or ( S O B 's ). Good job daddy ballers and mommy ballers. Yes they ain't innocent in all of this. Lets no leave you out. You all are SONSABIT***. This highschool needs to be investigated in great depth. These same kids are getting all if not most of the scholarships. I wouldn't be at all surprised if grades are being tampered with.

Dont know but I did hear North was out in the middle of no where and their family tree only had one branch on it. Heard central and North doesn't play daddy ball cause alot doesn't know who they are.

I heard west has a whole family coaching baseball, is that true?

Looks like the coach has lost respect of his players at West. Seems to be on both the boys and girls side. Everyone is screaming daddy ball, but looks like a Family Empire at West instead of Daddy Ball. Looks like the kids are ready for season to be over from the way both teams are playing.

This thread is about the great West implosion let's keep to that subject. Some want to deflect.

I simply can't believe that Centrals players were accused of having attitudes in the game against Alleganhy men's basketball team Tuesday night,I also can't believe no one seemed to have noticed Centrals players being tripped and pushed around and a Allegahny player with a black eye tried to start a fight with a Central player oh but that was over looked as was several other things not mentioned on here,also I don't see how anyone can blame attitude on the few seniors that Central has on their team,I mean come on really??? Does everyone not have a bad day sometimes? Do you guys placing blame attend all of the Central men's varsity basketball games? at home and away? Just asking,now I just happened to have been at 1 away game and not once but twice a central freshman was knocked to the ground and intentionally stomped by the home player,finally something was done the 2nd time it happened! Like it or not we have a lot of talent at the nest and a lot of talent at the other high schools in our county,Central as well as East,West&North all have some great seniors leaving this year if we could have only combined some of that talent and had one team,man! Fact is Central has always been a hated school,but it hasn't stopped us from dominating in many many sports and academics,let them keep hating Dub-C, keep spreading your wings and flying and always remain true to the nest!

Daddy Ball if you want to call it that, is at every school in Wilkes County.

Bottom line, West is not as good as they or anyone else thought they would be. 23 is as good as expected. Not much help from there. None of them can shoot. I seen them miss 20 point blank lay ups. They just aren't that good.

How about the Implosion at Central. Where are all the Jr's and Sr's? Did they decide not to play or is Daddy ball at play over there also? I know they have a dad on their staff with the JV's. East has a dad on staff as well.

West gets all the attention and we love to bash them guys(Politics/Daddy Ball) but it is at every school.

Face the music, West just isn't that good and they never really have been (Post 1991). Plus they are down in the coaching dept as well. The Coach loves to scream and jerk his kids out of the game, show them who is the boss and put on a show. I'm just not sure how much coaching goes on up there. Without 23, not sure they win a game. And they have more kids on the team than any other county school (Boys or Girls)

It's easy to hate on West. The funny thing is, we all drank the Kool Aid and thought this was the year of the Blackhawk. Funny.
