Why not hook it to and lcd TV and use it that way? Other wise by the screen on line and youtube the model number. Trust me it is easy. Otherwise I charge 35 + parts.

Looks like a 30 min or less replacement. 35 would be a fair amount, sometimes the Bezel fight to come off and braking it is all ways a risk. I would shop around for the lowest price on the replacement I saw them for as low as 42
If your brave I would say this replacement is one most anyone can do. you may want to try it your self..

It is a Toshiba Satellite C655D-S5200
That's the only numbers I could find except the serial number

Yes it is.First I would look up the replacement cost for the screen. if the screen cost to much I would consider using it while hooked to a LCD tv instead. What is the model number ?

My son has a toshiba laptop computer. The screen on it has been hit and needs replacing. Is this doable? how much would it cost?
