ahhh I see. I mainly want one for it's portability. I'm not getting rid of my pc tho

just a personal preference i'm on the computer a lot . no battery to charge with a desktop ,no power cord jack to break by moving it around, not having to use a touch pad,my keyboard is movable i'm not stuck typing in one position in relation to the monitor my monitor is 24 inches or i can run it thru my tv and its 40 inch monitor , its hard to drop a desktop

thinking about purchasing a laptop. I've never bought one before and I'm not sure what to look for. Any suggestions for brand or minimal features?
