Set up a secure router but don't give the password to your son or anyone. The problem will be solved.

You need to set up your router security. Start by posting the manufacturer and model number for the router.


General tips
Tip do not use WEP security as it can be hacked in 2 mins or less.
Do not broadcast the routers SSID
Change the default name and gateway address
Change the default password to the router
Don't use the default gate way address 192.168.1.1

So if your wireless network dosnt have a sercurity code on it .put one on it and you will be fine .

My neighbors son is playing x-box from my internet.I un hooked the cable last nite and his x=box went off.I have done this twice so i kinda know he is hooked to mine.Could he have gotten the password from my sons x-box.What can i do to fix this?I am hooked up to Charter wi-fy....Any help will be appreciated
