if you dont have sound from the step suggested from Ant Flo click on start then in either the search box (vista and W7) (run box in XP) type devmgmt.msc this will bring up device manager. look at the selection that says sound, video and game controller to see if you have a device listed there or if there is a yellow question mark. If your device is listed right click on it tand click properties to see if it is working properly. if it is not listed you will need to have someone check to see if your card is seated or not being recognized. If there is a yellow question mark you need to update the drivers for your audio device from the manufacturers website. or you can call me Joey @ ProTech Networks 336 262 2945.... http://www.pro-tech.5u.com. Plug a set of earphones in where the speakers normally go and play something - do you have sound? If so, your speakers are either off, or dead.
If not, is the volume on the PC muted?

I have no sound on my computor, does anyoen know what I need to do to fix this ?
