Be wary on getting Skype service. They will be going to an per-call charge basis in the next few months.
I am not with Charter, but I am a customer of Time-Warner. I got the cable TV, internet, and phone service bundle. So far, I have no complaints. However, what I have seen that would make me unhappy if I was home is that whenever they upgrade your line to fiber, you will experience an outage of all 3. Not sure if they have been laying any cable up here, but something to keep in mind.

I have not yet "bundled" my internet, cable tv, and phone service ... I have a question .. if I get these services bundled, will I have phone service if my computer service has problems or if the electricity goes out, such as in a storm, etc. .. Also, when I call a computer repair service, they ask me if my phone is on a separate line from my computer ... is that going to be a problem if they are trying to fix my computer remotely? Also, for those of you who have "bundled" from Charter, are you satisifed with the service, etc.? Thanks for the info!
