Avast is real crap.
Avira or Free avg

Spybot sd
malwarebytes
hijackthis

MS products are way behind and are ineffective at best.

There is some type of Malware (not sure what it would be called) that will send an email with a link to different sites to everyone in your address book. My daughter has this and it sent 2-emails to me this week. She used MS Essentials to do a scan but it found nothing. I suggested she download Avast and scan with that.

Does anyone have any thought on this?
