Its fixable btw Microsoft can do it. The red ring is basically general hardware failure most likely the GPU is loose as that tends to be fairly common but unless you have the tools and are fairly skilled at using them taking the unit apart to fix the problem is likely something you do not want to do as you could end up easily damaging other components.
