It is always interesting watching Anti, (and others) dive into hole, hoping to come up with "something" but ending up with "nothing". However I do have a suggestion. Learn to wade before you jump the cliff.

I would suggest you start with a book or four in the Bible called the Gospels. Get a good understanding of ..... lets say "John 3:16. Here is how it works

1Co 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Oh, here is a good one for you:

Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Anti, it would be 100% possible if the 144k are Reincarnated souls.

I always love it when you reply, GB

You're saying that... God will find a way. Even if those 144,000 people don't seem to exist, God will find a way. They might be 1/1000th Issachar or something, but since God writes the rules then that might be enough.

All 144,000 of them have to be chaste... They also have be completely honest and "blameless"

So... children. Young children.

If one believes that the Bible is true then one must believe that God not only "can" find the requisite 144,000 people, but that He "will" find those people when the time comes.

I think it a mistake to believe that merely being born with the "right' genetic makeup is enough to secure yourself a spot among those sealed. The 14th chapter of Revelation adds a few more requirements to be on the list. All 144,000 of them have to be chaste (verse 4) which kind of rules out the whole "child rapist" worry. They also have be completely honest and "blameless" (verse 5.)

Antithesis. I have long studied the history of the Bible. It seems to me there is a lot of contradictions in it. Now King David not only had a man killed he had already committed adultry with that mans wife . Yet the Bible states,King David was a man after Gods own heart. Now David was punished and repented yet he could not bring the man he had killed back to life. The one person I never wanted to dispute about the Bible was my father before his death because he knew his Bible. He studied all his life. He always said you could prove or disprove anything you wanted to using it. My deceased uncle used to be a preacher but he would not go up against my dad.

You can't have it both ways either the Bible means what it says and these things are happening or its a crock of lies.

Well that's a whole other thread... I've always had concerns about contradictions in the Bible, and how preachers lecture on things that are completely wrong.

Either the 12,000 of every tribe will be located and sealed or someone drank too much sacrificial wine.

This is interesting to me. Since 10 of those tribes are "lost," it would unlikely (impossible, even) to find 12,000 people that are 100% descendants of each tribe. But let's say that you can... Revelation says that a serial child r*pist that's descended from the tribe of Issachar will be sealed, but a white person that has led a righteous life and always tried to glorify God would not.

That doesn't sound very... Christian...

Antithesis they might have been assimululated but they do still exist. Either that or the Bible is a lie and God is a kid with an ant hill as Steven King is always saying. You can't have it both ways either the Bible means what it says and these things are happening or its a crock of lies. Either the 12,000 of every tribe will be located and sealed or someone drank too much sacrificial wine. You have one preacher preaching it this way, another preaching it his way and I doubt any of them actually preach it as it is. One even went so far as to tell my Dad before he died if he preached exactly what was in that Bible the church woukd kick him out. That is why I refused to buy into any church.

Antithesis those tribes are not extinct. You just have to know where to look. For example the US has a lot of the Manasses tribe, England is Ephrium. LOOK UP ThE BOOK THE United States and British Commonwealth in Prophey by Herbert W. Amstrong. Its free upon request.

That's interesting, I'll have to try to find that book.

Britannica had this to say on it...

Ten Lost Tribes of Israel, 10 of the original 12 Hebrew tribes, which, under the leadership of Joshua, took possession of Canaan, the Promised Land, after the death of Moses. They were named Asher, Dan, Ephraim, Gad, Issachar, Manasseh, Naphtali, Reuben, Simeon, and Zebulun-all sons or grandsons of Jacob. In 930 bc the 10 tribes formed the independent Kingdom of Israel in the north and the two other tribes, Judah and Benjamin, set up the Kingdom of Judah in the south. Following the conquest of the northern kingdom by the Assyrians in 721 bc, the 10 tribes were gradually assimilated by other peoples and thus disappeared from history.

Thomas believes he is the gatekeeper to who can be a Christian.

Its okay to ask questions. Might behoove some sort of response outside of heaving BS, like any good evangelical might do.
