I actually agree with you, armpit. The whole DOGE thing is just another scam... nobody really cares about saving us money.

They don't even make 747s anymore. So, he wants the exact same model of an outdated plane that's no longer used by US carriers? Last I checked, the only major airlines using that thing were Korean Air, Lufthansa, Air China, and some budget Russian carrier. So, that checks out I guess.

DOGE understands how important it is for Trump to travel in the ultimate luxury jet to the golfing destination of his whim for the day.

So they're exempt from DOGE's scrutiny.

Trump originally contracted Boeing to buy two new lavish jets in 2017, but delivery was delayed Now they plan to deliver in 2027, two years earlier than they predicted.


In order to meet that delivery date, the Trump administration is "'relieving' Boeing of some of the top-clearance security requirements for workers performing work on the aircraft..."

The $3.9 billion (with a B) is for two 747 jets that will be refurbished and repurposed.
