On the evening of May 13th at approximately 7:10 p.m., Officer Todd Burke was patrolling in the Northview Plaza area when he observed a suspicious Ford Truck behind a closed business located at 200 Northview Plaza. After contacting a property manager, the suspect was seen climbing down from the roof of the business. The suspect was questioned and after an investigation on the roof, it was determined that the suspect had been tampering and damaging a HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) unit on the roof by removing the condenser coils and other wiring and copper pipes had been removed.
.... Wire cutters, a pipe cutter, tin snips, a hacksaw and two Dewalt drills were also recovered on the roof. The suspect was also in possession of what is believed to have been 19.3 grams of methamphetamine.
