You would think that FEMA is cutting all aid for western NC by reading this threads title. It's actually being cut from 100% to 90%. Just be thankful that McCrory started a disaster fund when he was governor.

Watch him claim that NC will get "the best treatment, etc etc etc". What a lying pos. I feel so sorry for some of y'all -

The video of Trump talking is the first thing on the page. You can hear it for yourselves from his own mouth. No matter how y'all try to make it Stein and Cooper's faults, it's not. Trump is the one breaking his promise.

Good. Send that money to people who are grateful for the help, not basement dwellers who get their talking points from podcasts. You hicks should consider this a good thing.

Was it denied to everyone of did Republicans do like Democrats and just deny it to the other party?

Remember when they wanted Biden to immediately send all aid 3 days after hurricane.....

Now they cheer, when the cleanup is still going on.

Gullibles sure do follow like a fly to a cow patty.

The White House denied North Carolina's request for FEMA to extend full reimbursement for Helene damages.

The state initially requested an extension of 100% of federal costs for debris removal and emergency protective measures. Friday, the agency denied the request stating it was "not warranted."

In a post on X, Governor Josh Stein said he heard about the news while in Newland, a community devastated by Hurricane Helene. He said the need in Western North Carolina is still immense.

"People need debris removed, homes rebuilt, and roads restored," the post read in part.

Stein said he is extremely disappointed in the response and urges the President to reconsider FEMA's "bad decision" even for 90 days.

The state has 30 days to appeal the denial.
