Do tariffs work? It does for the the 170 countries that are charging the United States? No plan, none from the democrats. Tell us the plan because I hate Trump is not one. Matter of fact democrats have no plans for anything other than illegal immigrants and select groups. Tell us about trade deficit, the budget and what you are going to cut. Tell us the democrat plan for saving social security. You come on here and bash Trump which is your right but your party has nothing. Do a study why you are losing young men from your party. How dumb can your party leadership be?

Grover Norquist is credited with the rallying cry of no new taxes. It was and is promoted by the Koch brothers and other very rich people in order to get poor and middle class people to vote against their on economic self interest. It has been a very successful political strategy.
