Our sources ain't condemned the feller for such, Butch, theys a merely a wanting to know how much he charged for said gig. Preachers of his quality ain't cheap, ask Franklin Graham if that ain't right

It appears to me that I follow the teachings of Jesus pretty closely, while you constantly turn away from His teachings. And that includes this blasphemous thread condemning a preacher for praying at a celebration that has beer.

Don't guess you would mind copy and paste with that lie would you? Post it or you are exposed AGAIN

Anti, you have no credibility when it comes with the Bible and honestly most other things you spew

I know you think that, Foxy. But Jesus Himself said that He never knew you... Matthew 7...

As griller points out we are told to treat our bodies like a temple. Yet, if you go past any church when the service is over you'll see many good "Christians" lighting up as soon as they get through the door. Cigarettes are one of the most harmful things to which one's body can be subjected.

And yes, drinking alcohol is a sin. Every drunk in Wilkes Count use the same cherry picked scriptures to justify their sin.

Source?

As GB pointed out, Jesus turned water into wine... not because people were dying of thirst, but because it was a party and His mom complained that they were out of booze!

As the story goes, He made 120-180 gallons of wine.

Unless you want to argue that Jesus not only sinned, but contributed to all of these other people sinning...?

Again need a program to keep up with the democrat agenda. You squalk like a bird, separation of church and state but then want the government to pay for everything except when a church has money. Make up your mind. Now check your facts, Wooten Trucking put up the money for the Faithfest Race. They led a church service Sunday morning. Now if you were looking for sinners or people needing help, where would you go? The Bible tells you not to be a drunkard but I don't recall anything else unless you are to treat your body like a temple. In that case, should you eat meats, caffeine, or even medication? And finally because you don't hear about a ministry that helps people, does that mean that they don't?

"He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her."

Being a hypocrite is also a sin.

"The issue is Mr Church always seeking the spotlight. Rather than serving the needs of the poor and downtrodden he seeks the company of local business leaders."

A bit hypocritical there Thomas?

I don't think the issue is people drinking. Everyone knows it isn't a sin they just pretend they don't. The issue is Mr Church always seeking the spotlight. Rather than serving the needs of the poor and downtrodden he seeks the company of local business leaders.
