US companies moved offshore to take advantage of lower manufacturing costs, hence higher profits.
Tariffs are supposed to make imported goods more price competitive, just say it; higher priced.
Tariffs will be lowered and / or removed once companies return to the US. (how long will that take?)
So once a product is made in the US, it'll be sold at a price enabling a healthy profit. In other words, higher priced than pre-tariff, due to the cost of US manufacturing.
More manufacturing achieved in the US, all selling for higher pricing than before tariffs.
Explain the "winning."
